It integrates ground-based air pollution measurements with readily available satellite data and forecasting models, allowing the derivation of a highly accurate and continuous picture of regional and urban air quality and more
\nimportantly, exposure levels. The information system, developed in the context of the SMAQ project and subsequently piloted in western Macedonia, northwest Greece from January 2008, is a tool for informing and improving decision making. It is now ripe for transfer and implementation in regions and urban areas with concerns regarding environment and health.<\/p>","protected":false},"template":"","areas":[126],"tags-deliverable":[],"deliverable-category":[574],"thematiki-enotita-meletis":[367,378],"year-of-publication-meletis":[365],"type-ergou":[336],"ppma_author":[316],"class_list":["post-13451","deliverables","type-deliverables","status-publish","hentry","areas-dytiki-makedonia","deliverable-category-anafora","thematiki-enotita-meletis-perivallon","thematiki-enotita-meletis-poiotita-aera","year-of-publication-meletis-365","type-ergou-efropaika-european-projects"],"toolset-meta":{"field-group-for-meletes":{"ris_id":{"type":"numeric","raw":""}},"meletes":{"attachment-link":{"type":"url","raw":""},"file":{"type":"file","raw":"","attachment_id":null},"completion-date":{"type":"date","raw":"","formatted":null},"previous-post-id":{"type":"numeric","raw":"4128"},"list-of-deliverables":{"type":"wysiwyg","raw":"The Potential for Satellite-Assisted Management of Air Quality in Central and Eastern Europe<\/a>"},"implementing-body-text":{"type":"textfield","raw":""}}},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/portal.pta.pdm.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/deliverables\/13451","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/portal.pta.pdm.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/deliverables"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/portal.pta.pdm.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/deliverables"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/portal.pta.pdm.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=13451"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"areas","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/portal.pta.pdm.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/areas?post=13451"},{"taxonomy":"tags-deliverable","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/portal.pta.pdm.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags-deliverable?post=13451"},{"taxonomy":"deliverable-category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/portal.pta.pdm.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/deliverable-category?post=13451"},{"taxonomy":"thematiki-enotita-meletis","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/portal.pta.pdm.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/thematiki-enotita-meletis?post=13451"},{"taxonomy":"year-of-publication-meletis","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/portal.pta.pdm.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/year-of-publication-meletis?post=13451"},{"taxonomy":"type-ergou","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/portal.pta.pdm.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/type-ergou?post=13451"},{"taxonomy":"author","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/portal.pta.pdm.gr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ppma_author?post=13451"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
