The project aims to promote peace, inclusion, and mutual respect among migrants and diverse communities through the transformative power of folk dances. The main objectives are: &#8211; Utilise folk dances to enhance the physical and psychological well-being of migrants. &#8211; Promote folk dances as a unique form of social integration and skill development. &#8211; Encourage inclusive participation in folk dance activities among diverse groups. &#8211; Develop comprehensive skills through dance for personal and community growth. The main activities are: &#8211; Develop a methodology (Folk Dance Inclusive Toolkit) using folk dances in peace and inclusion efforts. &#8211; Train instructors in the methodology to lead folk dance events with people from diverse backgrounds. &#8211; Organize folk dance events across various locations to engage diverse participant groups including migrant populations. &#8211; Facilitate cultural exchange and community-building during the events. &#8211; Host a final festival showcasing the power of dance to unite people from diverse backgrounds. &#8211; Utilize digital strategies, such as creating TikTok videos, to enhance accessibility and sustain engagement beyond physical events. &#8211; Disseminate project results and methodologies to wider audiences for replication and sustainability.
