By adopting the &#8220;Earn As You Throw&#8221; (EAYT) approach, the project aims to increase recycling rates, reduce landfill waste, and support low-carbon, climate-resilient communities. Smart bins equipped with sensors, magnetic cards, and precision scales will be deployed in Greece (Eordaia, Ioannina, Corfu), while sensor-based systems will be introduced in Albania (Berat, Himara). The project fosters transnational cooperation, citizen engagement, and sustainable resource use, benefiting over 290,000 residents across the two countries.imate-resilient economy.
