Leveraging advanced technologies, the project focuses on optimizing water distribution, reducing water loss, and addressing aquifer vulnerabilities while integrating climate change considerations. Key activities include developing systems for managing water, sewage, and atmospheric networks in Prilep, establishing leakage monitoring systems in Almopia, and conducting detailed research on aquifer dynamics to support sustainable groundwater use. AQUANA\u2019s holistic approach combines technical innovations with capacity-building initiatives, aiming to ensure resilient and sustainable water resources for the region. Beyond technical advancements, AQUANA emphasizes community engagement and cross-border cooperation. By organizing training sessions, public awareness events, and collaborative roundtables, the project fosters a shared commitment to water conservation and ecosystem protection.
