It sets up community-level pilots where rainwater is harvested to irrigate crops, greywater from homes is reused for toilet flushing, and treated wastewater supports green spaces. At district level, two large-scale demos coordinate water reuse across agriculture, tourism, and urban services. Inspired by energy-sharing models, SHARE.MedWATER builds a framework for managing and distributing non-conventional water sources collectively. A decision-support tool helps authorities weigh costs, environmental impact, and user needs.
