Skills development for smart specialisation, industrial transition, entrepreneurship and adaptability of enterprises to change ~ SUMMARY: CERES objective is to establish Centers of Excellence (CoEs) in three project partner areas, in Greece, Palestine and Lebanon. CoEs will serve as innovation hubs, offering state-of-the-art training, fostering entrepreneurship and employment. Establishment of the C\u03bfEs will enable entrepreneurs, MSMEs, researchers, and graduates to receive interdisciplinary training from international teams of experts and obtain sufficient mentoring and technical support.The objective of the CoEs is to provide targeted capacity building that develops the skills and competencies required to meet the evolving needs of the market, especially in green and digital transition technologies. The Research Institutions (LP, P3) will develop small, flexible, online and\/or physical presence courses offering cutting-edge knowledge in a specialised subject accompanied by practical experience as well for integrated support and networking to scale-up their project ideas. Practical knowledge will gain by the establishment and operation of Living Labs on smart and resilient energy solutions (WP3) with the support additionally of P1,P2,P5, for the business development of project ideas, as well as the configuration of the pilot projects (P3,WP4) to be developed by the project. Pilots will be based on different application technologies; they will embed an open-source management and supervisory system and collaborative platform, and they will be developed to be cost-effective, green and resilient (WP5). All partners will collaborate for the development of the pilot projects combining their expertise and offering a mix of state-of-the-art technology together with practical training and problem solving. WP6, clustering promotion, networking and a virtual collaborative platform and business model will ensure the sustainability of the outputs.
