Σύντομη περιγραφή

“EUNITY represents the combination of “”EU”” and “”Unity,”” encapsulating the project’s core mission of fostering European unity through citizen-driven engagement. EUNITY aims to bring together citizens from diverse cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds to actively shape the future of the European Union. Participants are drawn from six European countries: Greece, Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Italy. EUNITY aims to address key contemporary issues as euroscepticism, socio-economic inequality, climate action, and the role of youth in shaping EU policies. EUNITY promotes a forward-looking, inclusive vision for Europe’s future, centered around a shared sense of European identity and belonging. EUNITY is organized around a Debatable Citizens’ Conference “”Let’s Shape Our Tomorrow Together, Validating Our Citizens’ Voices for Europe’s Future””. The core objective is to host a three-day forum where citizens from towns across Europe can engage in meaningful debates, and cultural exchanges. The 4 thematic pillars guiding EUNITY are: 1. Europe as a Peace and Democracy Project; 2. Addressing Socio-Economic Inequality and Social Cohesion; 3. Climate Participatory Action and 4. Youth Renewed Cross-Towns Policy Agenda. EUNITY is committed to ensuring broad-based participation from diverse segments of society. The project places a strong emphasis on inclusivity, targeting different demographic groups to foster a sense of shared European identity. The target groups include European towns and communities, European citizens of all ages with a focus on youth, women and non-binary individuals, and local and regional authorities. One of the central outcomes of EUNITY is the Citizens’ Brotherhoods Manifesto, a policy brief that will be produced following the three-day event, reflecting the collective voices of the participants. EUNITY is expected to involve 210 invited participants and 100 local participants, meaning in total 310 gender-balanced participants.”
