The *PROTECHILD* project is committed to upholding ethical standards, particularly in child protection, gender equality, and data privacy. To ensure a safe environment for children in sports, the project follows strict child safeguarding policies, provides specialized training for staff, and complies with EU and national regulations. Gender mainstreaming is a key focus, promoting equal opportunities for boys and girls, preventing discrimination, and ensuring female representation in decision-making roles. Additionally, the project safeguards children’s rights by developing inclusive policies, conducting gender-sensitive training, and encouraging equal participation in all activities. Ethical considerations also extend to data protection, where GDPR compliance is strictly followed, ensuring informed consent from parents and anonymization of personal data. To reinforce these measures, the project establishes clear ethical guidelines, training programs, and an anonymous reporting mechanism to address potential concerns, ensuring a sports environment that is safe, inclusive, and ethically sound.
